This becomes even more challenging when BYOD is introduced into the environment. Healthcare practitioners are as passionate about their mobile devices as anybody, and 90% of them use their personal smartphones for work. On the surface, this makes a lot of sense – not only is the practitioner already familiar with the device, but BYOD can also help cut costs. The problem? Securing a personally owned device is much harder than securing a managed device.
